The first movie I remember watching on the big screen was Babe (1995). I guess you’ve got to start somewhere. I never really went to the movies at all until January 2005, when realizing my complete ignorance I decided to go see the newly released Woody Allen that year. Why Woody? My parents were fan, and I always remember them going to see the new Woody Allen movie every year. It was Melinda & Melinda, an easily forgettable movie, however it started it all for me. For the following Christmas, I asked my parents a membership to the Cinémathèque in Paris. Thank you for sharing Paul!
Cheers indeed. A magnificent origin story. I heard Phyllis Diller tell a joke that's filthy and wrong on a number of levels and she remains a favorite. I'm happy to know she was part of your earliest cinematic imprinting.
Mary and I always considered buying a dog, despite our cats, so we could name him Popeye Doyle.
Popeye Doyle forever
“I understand they always travel in pairs.”
